    SCY continuously improves the quality management system to ensure that consumers and end customers can enjoy excellent quality services such as free maintenance and product replacement in case of quality defects during the product warranty period.



    Applicable objects of warranty
    Warranty service is applicable to all consumers and end customers of creative products of SCY.



    Limited Warranty

    The product damage not caused by natural or exogenous factors does not belong to the scope of warranty. The specific circumstances of non warranty are as follows:

    (1)Failure due to force majeure, improper human operation and other non product factors;

    (2)Unauthorized disassembly, maintenance, parts replacement, SPD/Firmware data change and label alteration;

    (3)When the product label, warranty label, tamper proof label and anti-counterfeiting label are changed, damaged or lost;

    (4)When the serial number of the product is inconsistent, altered or cannot be identified;

    (5)Due to improper use of the environment, resulting in corrosion, rust, golden finger pollution, oxidation, damage and other phenomena;

    (6)Insufficient or overload of power supply voltage;

    (7)When the product is not functionally missing or incompatible due to improper use environment or method;

    (8)Damage caused by failure to operate, maintain and keep in accordance with the requirements of product instructions;

    (9)Damage caused by poor transportation and other force majeure.

    For the products with the above conditions, SCY will provide paid after-sales service by charging relevant fees as appropriate.

     

    Warranty period

    (1)Embedded memory chip products

    The warranty period is one year from the date of sale.

    (2)Solid state disk products

     The warranty period of SSD series products is three years from the date of sale.

    (3)DRAM module products

     The warranty period of DRAM module series products is three years from the date of sale.

    (4)Portable storage products

     The warranty period of portable storage series products is one year from the date of sale.


    Warranty precautions

    (1)For products with storage function, please backup the original data in the product before sending it for repair. SCY does not guarantee the integrity of the data in the maintenance process.

    (2)Some products are repaired by replacement of spare parts, so the repaired products may not be the original ones.

    (3)For the service request of products beyond the warranty period, SCY can still provide continuous maintenance service according to the specific situation, while SCY will charge relevant fees for the repair project as appropriate; for the products that have stopped production, they will be published on the SCY official website (list of stopped production products) from time to time.

    (4)SCY does not provide services of different capacity exchange and specified particle cycle.

    (5)SCY mobile hard disk and SSD accessories (package, manual, drive, protective cover, USB cable, bracket, etc.) are not guaranteed.

    (6)Products purchased as part of the kit need to be returned as the complete kit to meet the warranty requirements.

    7The warranty period of the repaired product is limited to the remaining warranty period of the original product or ninety (90) days after repair, whichever is longer.

     

    Exemption clause

    (1) SCY is only responsible for the maintenance and inspection of the company's products, and does not provide rescue or backup services for the stored data in the products. The company is not responsible for any factors that cause the data stored in the company's products to be lost.

    (2)SCY is also not responsible for product defects or damage and loss of data caused by any factor during the delivery process to be repaired.


    How to send it for maintenance

    (1)Deliver the warranty products to the SCY designated place (in case of large volume, logistics is used to send to the SCY designated logistics point).

    (2)SCY bears the one-way freight for the products sent after the warranty, and if the warranty products are delivered by post and paid on delivery, SCY reserves the right to refuse to accept them.

    (3)The shipper pays the one-way freight and bears the risks that may arise during the period before the products arrive at the receiving party.

    (4)There must be a list when the product is sent for repair. If the product is missing due to no list, the loss shall be borne by himself or herself.

    (5)In order to standardize the warranty process and provide efficient and high-quality warranty services, individuals or end customers who do not directly trade with SCY must apply through SCY authorized dealers or agents to enjoy the corresponding warranty services. If an individual or an end customer directly applies for warranty to SCY, the latter may not accept it.
